PLAY THE LOVEBOX MAIN STAGE WITH NME BREAKTHROUGH round 2

Lovebox has teamed up with NME Breakthrough to search for the most exciting breaking* artist and offer them the opportunity of playing the main stage at Lovebox 2010 on Friday 16th July.

If you can see yourself sharing a bill with Dizzee Rascal, Ellie Goulding, Mystery Jets, The Maccabees and The Noisettes, then you need to register by first creating an NME Breakthrough page at http://www.nme.com/breakthrough and then by register with Lovebox here:http://apps.facebook.com/playlovebox

On the 7th June, an esteemed music industry panel comprised of stage headliner Dizzee Rascal himself, NME’s New Music Editor Jaimie Hodgson, NME editor Krissi Murison, Head of Lovebox Rob Silver, MD of Primary Talent International Peter Elliot and Lovebox founders Groove Armada will listen to all the registered breakthrough pages and shortlist their 5 favourite acts that they think are worthy of the enviable position of playing Lovebox 2010.

These 5 acts will then be put to a public vote on Lovebox Official Facebook

The panel will be meeting on 7th June, so make sure your profile is up and running by then. The shortlist will be notified by 11th June.

* To qualify, said artist/act musn’t have signed an album deal with a major record label
