Life After Glastonbury

This year the sun shone on Glastonbury as revellers were afforded a rare opportunity to enjoy the festival rolling around on the grass.

If you missed it you can catch no less than 39 acts who will be making the jump from countryside to big city for this year’s Lovebox. AND of course with all the Glastonbury style bells and whistles that led the Guardian to call Lovebox “one of the most authentic festivals of the summer”.

Also present will be the towering NYC Downlow, a now legendary life-size ruin of a NYC tenement block, which will play host to some of our favourite DJs and provide the perfect backdrop to Sunday’s stand-off between Horse Meat Disco and Disco Bloodbath.

As for the artists, Dizzee Rascal will be arriving fresh from his storming set on the Pyramid Stage, which you can see on BBC iplayer here, to headline our Main Stage on Friday. And if that wasn’t enough, he will also be reprising his full band from that performance for his Lovebox debut.

Joining Dizzee on the main stage across the weekend will be Chase and Status, Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding and Hot Chip, who you can see lighting up the Other Stage here, amongst others. Also in attendance will be Chew Lips, who headlined the Introducing Stage here, and Bombay Bicycle Club, seen here on the John Peel Stage.
